My Story:
In college I wanted to combine everything I loved into a career, so I sat down and made a small list of the things I enjoyed most in life, and it looked like this: people, the outdoors, travel, and fitness. I then obtained a BA in photojournalism and Spanish from Eastern University and my plan was to work as a photojournalist for a non-profit or missions organization. Then, in my senior year I met my wonderful husband and we decided that upon graduation we would get married and move back to Syracuse to start a family.
Instead of going overseas as a missions photojournalist, I became a high school Spanish teacher and continued photography on the side, shooting mostly for friends and family. After three years of teaching we had our first daughter and I decided to stay home to raise her. At this time I also began shooting many senior pictures and weddings. I now have four beautiful babies and when I am not with them I am out shooting! I feel incredibly blessed to have this time with my kids and still be able to meet so many wonderful people while doing something I love, capturing the human spirit!
My Philosophy:
I have always been very aware of the fact that life is fleeting, and I am a firm believer that "a picture is worth a thousand words." When I look at a picture I am transported back to that time in life and am able to remember what I felt that day, which is an invaluable gift. I want to give my clients the gift of not only loving every picture but also of being able to relive their special moments. During our time together I guarantee I will capture your unique beauty as a couple, family or individual, and we will laugh and have a wonderful experience! I will deliver to you images of the highest quality that are flawlessly edited to enhance your natural beauty!
